An amazing restaurant to try the local Minas Cusine. The restaurant is located a bit away from the city but the ambience is amazing. The restaurant is huge but in weekends it may get extremely full so need to reserve a table. The place is famous for meat but have very good chicken and vegetarian dishes. The taste and quality of food was amazing and they did a very good service. You pay 15-20$ per person which is super reasonable compared to the food you eat. Definitely recommend to try this place when you visit Belo Horizonte.
Fantastic place to feel and experience authentic Brazillian cousine. Place has an amazing atmosphere, good prices and very kind stuff. Portions are very generous and best experiences with at least one other person.
Our cousin who lives in BH picked this place last minute and what a pleasant surprise. Great atmosphere and very rural set up with big spaces for big groups if needed. This is really authentic Minas Cuisine. The beer comes iced cold and the dishes are big enough to be shared or do family style. Make sure to make room for delicious desserts. We order the lombo asado/pork cooked in the oven and Galinha al molho pardo and both dishes came with several sides most of them local vegetables and potatoes. They have a full bar with a very good selection of spirits and cachazas. We will for sure return to this restaurant the next time we visit Belo Horizonte.
Its a typical food restaurant, it has a lot of space. The food is delicious, very well prepared. You do eat well. But its crowded, make sure you qrrive early or will have to wait a long time. Please follow us on instagram: @mapamunditravel
